New Special Enrollment Period

A new Special Enrollment Period (SEP) is now available for low-income health insurance applicants at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL.) This will allow applicants to enroll in a Marketplace/Exchange plan. Those with an existing Marketplace plan that fall at or below the FPL can change their plan during this new SEP.

Who is eligible for the SEP?

To be eligible you must fit both of these criteria: Eligible for Annual Premium Tax Credit, and have an estimated annual household income at or below 150% of the federal poverty level.

You will not qualify for the new SEP if you qualify for AHCCCS/Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare, or military coverage. Those offered affordable group health insurance coverage through an employer will not qualify. You must be a US citizen or lawfully present.
