In addition to ACA qualified Arizona student health insurance, we also offer short term health insurance coverage for up to three years at a time. An Arizona short term health insurance plan will cost about 50% less than an ACA individual plan. They are half the cost primarily because short term policies do not cover maternity, preventive care, or pre-existing conditions present within the last 5 years. Many plans cover office visits with a low co-pay and some cover preventive care.
