It’s official, 63% of Americans want the new health insurance law repealed, up from 57% last week. it will be interesting to see if calls for health care repeal stay at this level, or if this was a one-time thing.
Nearly 70% of Americans think that the new health insurance law will be bad for the country, 67% to be exact. Obama has made a concerted effort this past month to get the word out about the benefits of the new medical insurance mandate, and it would seem that the public does not like what they are hearing. https://higginscompanies.com/about-broker/benefits-of-having-a-broker/
About one out of ten people think that the new health insurance law will actually lower the deficit as promised, the vast majority, 63%, think that the medical insurance law will raise the deficit. More than half of the people think that the health insurance law will cause medical care to become worse.
Along party lines most Republicans favor repeal. Males favor repeal over females.
The good news is that the American people are continuing to learn about the health insurance law and not accepting it as a done deal. Now if only the Republicans can avoid blowing it as they are apt to do. Continue to let the word get out by the Democrats, they are doing more to defeat the health insurance plan than any Republican could do, just look at the numbers.
Once the small business owner realizes what a sham the new small group health insurance tax credit is, the overall call for repeal will continue to grow.
