— Rick,
I was glad that you answered the phone. I know I made a good choice choosing you as my broker and applying with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. The more I think about it, the more I want to be with a company that has widespread recognition and is everywhere. So thanks again for everything!
— Liza,
“Hi Mike,

Employer’s Group Health Insurance

When employers start to drop their group health insurance,, and they will drop their group health insurance there will be a silver lining. Severing the tie between employment and the individuals health insurance is a good thing. This will finally force individuals and families to understand the true cost of health insurance and medical services rendered.

By 2018 the tax benefits of offering group health insurance will start to lessen. This will push more people out of group health insurance and onto the government plans and individual medical insurance policies. No longer will employees have to stay put simply for the group health insurance either.

Employees will be able to pick the health insurance coverage they want instead of what the employer offers, resulting in thousands of dollars in savings for the family in many cases. Employers can pay more in wages and expand their business.
