Well, it has started. Major corporations deciding to dump their retirees into the federal Medicare or Medicaid programs has begun, Here. 3M announced today that their 23,000 retired employees will be cut from the company health insurance program starting in 2013. Their reasoning… Obamacare. The new law eliminates the tax credit corporations have had for years when they cover their retirees.
This is where I say, again, that this was always the plan. Obamacare is designed to put health insurance companies out of business and force everyone into a federal health insurance policy. The more the government can get it’s citizens relying on them, the more votes Democrats will receive in future elections. It’s just a numbers game.
If you thought health insurance premiums were out of control now, just wait. Someone has to pay for the millions soon to be enrolled in a government plan. Those that pay no taxes, well over 50% of American citizens by the way, will now know what it feels like to send the federal government a check each year.
