Today a federal judge ruled that it is unconstitutional to force citizens to buy health insurance, and this is one health insurance broker that is very happy! The sooner this horrible, horrible law gets to the Supreme Court the better. The billions of dollars being wasted as we speak in setting up Obamacare can finally be spent on something worthwhile, say lowering taxes to help with the economy.
There is a way to go before the Supreme Court has the final say of course. We are still waiting for the Florida case to move forward, twenty states asking the federal court to overturn Obamacare. The score is 2-1 in favor of the liberals, the law getting an approving nod from two judges put in power by Democrats. Conservatives still run the show at the Supreme Court, so with a little luck this law can finally be put down and the process of building a higher quality health care system can begin.
